Iván Correa is a traditional manager of Coppel. He is in charge of the Incentive Program although he does do a number of other things. He’s mainly responsible for planning the incentives, packages for employees at the stores, based on sales. His fluency is very high. He’s probably a B1 fluency. He has a good command of vocabulary as well. He just has a hard time structuring what he wants to say into complex sentences. He need to work on incorporation of modal verbs, using linking words and conversation. He’s a Mexican football fan. He used to be an amateur, almost a professional football player. He’s involved in a number of projects within Coppel where he oversees thing like crisis management. He advises top directors. He also has a few side businesses that he also runs. They don’t create a conflict with Coppel. He’s very talkative, great personality, prefers in-person classes and native speakers almost exclusively. It is challenging for him to do homework. He prefers to speak, almost never does homeworks, doesn’t take notes or bring a notebook. It is a challenge to get him to work and begin to focus on traditional class structure dynamics.
