Academic Profile

Magnolia de la Garza is an art historian, she’s the custodian of the Kal Collection. Her English is really good and she’s a solid B2. She really needs polishing her pronunciation, prepositions, phrasal verbs and working on expanding her vocabulary range, introducing more sophisticated expressions and adjectives. She’s really good with technicalities. She really doesn’t need any professional English; she’s more interested in being able to talk. There is a full list of her needs that we have in her Lesson Plan Document that will give complete information to the Consultants. Mostly, I would summarize it to working on pronunciation, fluency, coherence, expanding vocabulary range and polishing some minor mistakes. She doesn’t really have fossilized ones but she does make a lot of mistakes with prepositions. On her personality side, she’s very friendly and chatty but she expects a very well planned class and to learn something, so she’s quite demanding and she definitely needs a five-star consultant because of her language skills. She’s quite serious but friendly and expects a high level class.
