Zuleyka and Cuquis are both administrative assistants, both full beginners, which means that they probably started as Pre A ones. As beginners they need a lot of guided practice. They need to basically practice writing things out and then repeating them with the subject-verb-object structure. Zuleyka needs to work a lot on the pronunciation, she tends to mispronounce words. On the other hand, Cuquis slightly has better skills, especially when it comes to understanding and she definitely ha a better vocabulary range. However, they are definitely both beginners, very friendly and very curious. They tend to come late and they don’t do their homework but they’re very motivated to learn. Also, they are usually able to follow the class if it is scaffolded properly. The recommendation with them would be to really focus on accomplishing specific tasks such as as how to introduce yourself or how to talk about your skills, how to ask for directions rather than bombarding them with grammar because they are not able to understand everything. They are still really basic users.
