Academic Profile

Rigoberto Camacho is a Regional Manager at Coppel. He’s also a philosopher so he runs and oversees the Ethics Department within the HR Department of Coppel. He’s worked there for almost 10 years at this point. He does integrate and has worked with the integration of minorities and women’s rights. He created the Ethics Code but he also runs, delivers and has designed a philosophy workshop that he gives to executives and CEO’s throughout the country. His topics and areas of interest are almost exclusively philosophy focused. Therefore, it can be very difficult to get him to focus on another topic. He can be challenging in classes if you try to start with the PPP approach. He’s definitely much more of an inductive learner when you give him a questions and lead him into the conversation and then develop the materials that he wants around that. He’s between an A2+ and a B1. His fluency is better than his linguistic range. He doesn’t enjoy it but he needs to drill on specific structures and he enjoys it when he’s done but it has to be within a topic that he enjoys. He will not do homework or very rarely will do homework but he is engaged and focused on people.
